Module 3: Writing

Writing is the best way to improve your English skill. If you find trouble expressing your ideas while writing, it is due to lack of word power or sentence structure. If we strive to learn it through the dictionary or by asking questions with others or by any other means, then this is the best way to improve our vocabulary and grammar. It is recommended to write at least one paragraph in English every day.

Here is the video in which we have explained the importance of writing in order to learn English.

Assignment 1:

Writing a passage

Close your eyes for a minute , when you open  your eyes the first thing that you see is your topic for the day . It may be Fan , TV , Clock, Pen , Mother , Table , Sofa etc anything . Write about the topic including minimum 50 words in it .

1. Passage Reading

People have been coming to the wise man, complaining about the same problems every time. One day he told them a joke and everyone roared in laughter.

After a couple of minutes, he told them the same joke and only a few of them smiled.

When he told the same joke for the third time no one laughed anymore.

The wise man smiled and said:

“You can’t laugh at the same joke over and over. So why are you always crying about the same problem?”

Moral of the story:

Worrying won’t solve your problems; it’ll just waste your time and energy.

1. Observe the anchor carefully.

2. Make a note of any 2 news bulletins.

3. Stand in front of the mirror

4. Imitate the anchor by reading the news bulletins.
