ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಕರೆಗೆ ಓಗೊಟ್ಟ ಜನತೆ ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪಾಂದೋಲನ

ಕೊರೋನಾ ಅಂಧಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಯುದ್ಧ ಸಾರಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿಗೆ ಜನತೆಯ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಬೆಂಬಲ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ . ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಕರೆಗೆ ಓಗೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ 9 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದ ಜನ 9 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯಂತೆ ಜನ ದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮನೆಗಳ ಲೈಟ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಾಲ್ಕನಿ, ಟೆರೆಸ್‍ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪ, ಮೇಣದ ಬತ್ತಿ, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫ್ಲ್ಯಾಶ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಾರ್ಚ್‍ಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಬೆಳಕು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜನ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗಿ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಕರೋನಾ ಮಹಾಮಾರಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜಾತಿ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಜನ ದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಉಡುಪಿ ನಗರದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಗಿರಿಯ ಸೈಂಟ್ ಸಿಸಿಲಿಸ್ ಸಮೀಪ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮೀಯ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿತು. ಉಡುಪಿ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಆದೇಶದಂತೆ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಧರ್ಮೀಯರು ದೀಪ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಪುಟ್ಟ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಛಯದ ಬಾಲ್ಕನಿಯಿಂದ ದ್ವೀಪ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಕರೋನಾದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಶುಶ್ರೂಷೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸರಕಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Modi shared a recent picture of him with the seer holding his hand, and said he was blessed to have many opportunities to learn from the Swamiji. His last meeting with the seer, he said was during Guru Purnima. Pejawar seer was an influential figure who was known for making public and political comments on important issues. He was closely associated with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Ram Mandir movement. Expressing happiness over the recent Ayodhya verdict, he had said that to see Ram Mandir built at Ayodhya was his last wish. The seer was also commended for his progressive and experimental initiatives to respond to social issues. Pejawar Swamiji drew flak as well as appreciation for some of his initiatives like organising Iftar parties to Muslim community members and visiting Dalit colonies which he said was to end discrimination. The mortal remains of the seer has been kept at Udupi Ajjarkad grounds for devotees to pay homage and it will then be air-shipped to Bengaluru s National College grounds. The Karnataka government has declared mourning for the next three days.
